He started pulling at his ears again today so I called the doctor. Daddy took him to the doctor and they saw the PA. It's just one ear this time. They put him on Augmentin. He doesn't like it. I hope it works this time. Poor guy! Luckily he doesn't act like it's bothering him all the time. But he hasn't been sleeping very well. We both could use a good nights sleep. I'm anxious to see the doctor for his one year check up next week and see if we should see an ENT. Three ear infections in two months is too much.

Definately too much. I would demand a referral. We see Dr Novelly. He has office hours at the hospital. He's put 5 sets of tubes in my kids' ears.

Poor baby. Le, I've totally been where you are. Hannah had 11 ear infections in her left ear before she was 3 years old. We thought we had it under control with a maintenance dose of antihistamine/decongestant. Now she's 11 and we are discovering that she has hearing loss in that ear and she's having other problems, too. Go to the ENT asap!
