Cookies and Crafts
Last week I made sugar cookies for primary. And they turned out really cute! Six dozen CTR cookies!
Thanks Lori! It would have taken FOREVER without your help!
Then my boys were sick on Sunday and we didn't go to church. But I heard they were a really big hit with the primary.

It's all made of felt and each letter has a tiny button hole in it so they can be removed.
And there's lots of extra letters in a pocket in the back so she can spell whatever she wants. Maybe it will help her learn her kindergarten sight words.
Now I've been thinking of different ways to make these. Like using flannel instead of felt for the pillow. Or a cute fabric. And making the letters with two layers of felt and stitching them together with a cute stitch. But it was a fun little project. Quick, easy, inexpensive. What more could you ask?

I really love that pillow project. I would love to get the pattern for it. That would be GREAT for my nephews and nieces for birthdays.
Leah LOVES it!!!
It is her favorite thing these days. Thank you for making her feel so special.
Leah has been spelling everything she knows how. "Mom, how do you spell Pinkalicous?"
FYI... I need to come over and make some more letters. She and Reese have been playing with it so much that they have stretched out a bunch of the letters.
Oh I made one of those too. They are really fun. Nice. I should come visit and craft with you. YOu're so fun to hang out with and so full of great ideas.
How did you do the shape for the cookies? Did you cut them out by hand? Those are super cute.
Oh, and thanks for the glue gun tip for those Cub Scout patches. Worked like a charm!
