A BIrthday Party

Baby had a birthday. He turned two. And he needed a party. He is the only one of my children that has a spring birthday. So we could actually do it outside. So I chose a park with a sandy playground. And made invites.

And I had to make him a birthday shirt.

He loves it. I swiped this idea from Crystal over at Little Bit Funky. She makes super cute shirts for her little boys. I don't think she's ever made a dumptruck though.

Then I made treat buckets for all of his guests. I love using the cricut. Super easy and it makes everything cute.

Then I filled the buckets with bubbles, water guns, bouncy balls and candy.

Then I made a cake. In a dumptruck.

I gathered up all the sand buckets, shovels, dump trucks and tractors I could find. And we went to have a party at the park.

The kids played at the playground and in the sand. It was a nice morning, not too hot. When it was time for snacks and cake Baby wanted to keep playing. And he didn't want to blow out his candles. So I helped him.

Then we relit the candle a few times so everyone else could blow out the candle.

He opened his presents and got lots of great stuff. Cars, pool toys, bubbles and sidewalk chalk.

We got him a lawnmower and he Really likes it.

I'm pretty sure he walked about five miles behind that lawnmower that day.

It was a fun little party for a fun little boy. Hmmm...I guess it's time to give him a new blog name.
