Gifted?

Like most siblings, my kids have been known to pick on each other. Especially the two oldest. They both have a pretty good sense of humor and thankfully feelings aren't usually hurt. Lately when Sassypants does something that isn't too bright or she totally misses the obvious, Caveman will say, "no wonder you're not in the gifted program." But she gets him back when he does something stupid by saying, "I thought you were in the gifted program." Works both ways.

Well, yesterday that Sassypants got from the bus to the house in record time. She had big news. The fourth grade just took the math benchmark test and guess who got the highest score in the entire fourth grade? That's right. My Sassypants! She was so proud and so was I! It might not come as easy to her as it does to her brother but she works so hard and it payed off. Way to go girl! We might have to change your name to Smartypants!

Your kids are so smart! Remember me trying to figure out how to measure things on the paper cutter when we used to scrapbook. I don't think there is one matching cut in all of my scrapbooks. I hope my kids get JD's smarts when it comes to math!
