We finally had the baby's birthday party on Saturday. He's almost 13 months. We were out of town on his birthday and the Hottie asked that I wait until he finished the semester before we had a party. So Saturday was the day. We had aunts and uncles and cousins and friends and had lots of good food and fun. I found the idea for the cake on one of my
new favorite blogs. The baby loved those polka dots. He thought they were delicious. He ate all of them off his cupcake so we added more. A few times. He loved it. His Aunt Dawn helped him with his ice cream. So Yummy!
He ate his first hot dog and LOVED it! He ate every bite.
Of course all the big people had to play some Rock Band.
They took a quick break so he could open his presents. He got some clothes, a dump truck, some blocks, a bubble maker and a book. He was so good. Didn't even get an afternoon nap and just played and was so sweet. We had a great day and are so thankful for our one year old boy!

what a cutie! I can't believe he is 1 already either.
that looks like it might be a swiss chocolate cake. One of Amber's girls had a cake that looked like that one year but it was of course in shades of pink.
I've been missing our walks with him! Hope he had a great birthday and feels better!
