This is one of my favorite pictures of my mother. While there are a lot of other beautiful portraits and even snap shots of my mom this remains my favorite. This is the only picture that I have ever seen of her pregnant. Which is kind of amazing since she was pregnant six times. I think she was pregnant with my little sister when this was taken. She looks so happy. Pregnancy glow perhaps? She is such a great Mother, Nana, and friend. And I am so blessed. My kids are too because she is a part of their life. She has taught me so much and I continue to learn from her example.

Mom can't believe you used this picture. She hates it. But, I agree with you,I think it's great. Mother's day dinner a success, although it started about 6:45...Dad especially liked it - he gave it a 10!
